The Creative Research Toolkit

It all began in the BA Arts With Community classroom during a session of our module Self-Determined Learner where we had to come up with our research project. I really wanted to investigate how neuroscience connects with community arts, however, no neuroscientist would connect with me! So, after a couple of ideas I thought that researching research methods is a great idea and that I can present them in a handy toolkit for many other practitioners to use whenever they are researching. Working closely with my project supervisor, Dr Alan Cusack, I finally created the first couple drafts of the original Creative Research Toolkit and shared it amongst the class and other creatives in the institution of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
